How to Make a News & Update Post

How to Make a News & Update Post for the Main Site Homepage

1. Create a new post (a regular post).

2. Select the category News & Updates in the sidebar.

3. Add the photo to the sidebar in the Featured Image spot. 

4. Make sure the text copy is also in the Excerpt box in the sidebar (This will be displayed on the card on the homepage).

5. Use the External Link field to put the URL of the page you want to link to (for example, if you want to link to the camps page.) Otherwise the card will link directly to this post. 

6. After publishing, confirm it’s displaying correctly on the homepage.
